I personally have made several new Facebook Friends because of the Friendship Bread Kitchen Facebook page! I know that I can go on there several time a day and see certain names pop up! I love having fellow bakers online and read what they are baking! So fun!

I have been having great difficulties at work due to horrible gossip against me. essentially i felt alone and socially isolated. i come home and read and escape for a bit. well, i read Darien's book and thought it would be fun to maybe make the bread with my son the way the character did. We spent a saturday on day 10 in the kitchen. (try convincing a 16 year boy old its cool to stay in with ol mom on a saturday). Well we honestly had a great time and made the blueberry muffins and a pumpkin loaf. YUMMMMM. It doesnt stop there. we had so much left over I took it to work maybe to share with the one worker who still is my friend. The next thing I know there are 3 more people in the lounge then 2 more! SIX co-workers came to share the bread and also to share that they were so sorry for all I have been thru and that they will stick by me thru thick and thin! Who knew? I'm not alone after all! It just took a little gesture like the bread to open the doors to REAL FRIENDS! I know it sounds corny but thats what I am grateful for. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
