Our Kitchen Talk was held at 1pm CST on Twitter today! We had a few old friends and quite a few new friends stop in and visit us around the Kitchen Table.

Here are a few things that we talked about:

*Someone asked if you could use chocolate milk in the baking part of the recipe instead of white milk! The answer is yes, of course!

*Did you know that you can freeze the starter? People are always amazed to learn this!

*We chatted with friends who had NEVER heard of Amish Friendship Bread! After they heard what all you can make with the starter, I think we have some new bakers!

*One of the chatters has a daughter with autism and they are doing the starter and baking together. How awesome!

*We talked about baking bread and then freezing it so that you don't have to bake when it gets SUMMER HOT! Such a great idea!

*We chatted about the up and coming book tour in ONE WEEK and all are so excited for Darien! Hopefully she will be joining our chat next week to pass out some copies of her book! You'll have to come and find out!

*Our random winner of an OXO Beachwood Wooden Spoon was @ljhollow LaDonna Holloway! She was very excited to win! LaDonna is on day 4 of her starter and is doing it with her autistic daughter.
