Ingredients

1 cup Amish Friendship Bread Starter
3 eggs
1 cup oil

  3. Grease two large loaf pans.
  4. Dust the greased pans with granulated sugar.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into loaf or cake pans.
  6. Bake for one hour or until the bread loosens evenly from the sides and a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
  7. ENJOY!

Kitchen Notes

Add a bit of chocolate to this bread by decreasing chopped pistachios to 1 cup and adding 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.

From Tammy Johnson:  “I added a twist to this recipe by adding half a large jar of well drained maraschino cherries.  I also added chopped cherries and lined the bottom with butterscotch morsels. Now this was some amazing bread.”
