Recipe at a Glance
- omit cinnamon
- decrease milk to 1/2 cup
- substitute white chocolate instant pudding for vanilla pudding
- substitute almond extract for vanilla extract
- add 1 cup white chocolate chips
- add 1 cup Craisins
- top with 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and 1/2 cup slivered almonds

Yield: 2 cakes
Ingredients
1 cup Amish Friendship Bread Starter
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
2 small boxes of white chocolate instant pudding
1 cup Craisins
1 cup white chocolate chips, plus 1/2 cup for topping
1/2 cup slivered almonds for topping
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325° F (165° C).
- In a large mixing bowl, add ingredients as listed.
- Grease two 8 x 8 pans.
- Pour the batter evenly into cake pans.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and 1/2 cup cup slivered almonds over batter.
- Bake for 75 minutes or until the bread loosens evenly from the sides and a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.

Kitchen Notes
This cake takes longer to bake because of all of the additions. You can also substitute 1 cup cranberries for Craisins.

I love this recipe… I didnt have white chocolate pudding so I used one chocolate and one french vanilla. Yummy. I made them into tiny loaves and it made 16 of them and they only took 23 minutes.
