i got the book from the library on sat and I have not put it down- i love it! Its a cute novel. I used to make this bread” many” years ago and I think the batter got ahead of me with lots of it i the freezer so i let go of it — but I do remember that the bread is yummy -Now I can’t wait to make this starter again…. I consider myself a pretty good cake baker, but I never made pies or worked with yeast. I was pleasantly surprised how good it turned out and have some in ziploc bags in the freezer for future use to try different recipes.

Friendship bread will come in handy this winter – the book as it contains recipes I have never made & the bread as baking helps warm the heart and soul.
