Kitchen Notes

This is a great recipe to use the stray apple sitting around in the fruit drawer. Doubling up on the cinnamon gives it an extra kick.

Is there a way to make a starter without yeast? Also Long time ago when pg with my now 21 year old I got a starter and the recipe had apples, raisins, walnuts, and a streusel topping. It was delicious but at the time it gave me severe heartburn. I don’t get HB when not pg so wish i had that recipe again. Also I don’t remember pudding in it still sounds good.
